An youngman sees his environment full of crimes.His father was a higher cop and he too was a law student.He happens to get a note with inscription "Deathnote" written on it.When he touched the note,he sees a spirit which guards the note.He desribes the note as "any name written on the note will suffer death within 30 seconds ".Light uses it to kill criminals and suspects.Crime rate goes down.An international Detective named "L" is involved in the case by the government.
