Special agent Frank castle inadvertently killed Bobby saint,son of Howard saint,a corrupt businessman in his last undercover assignment.But Haward took revenge on castle's family on his reunion burnt away his house laid castle half dead.Castle was taunted by the memories of his family.Castle wanted to avenge his family by changing himself into a judge,executioner as "The punisher".He killed all the associates of saint and Howard in his one man war and punished everyone involved in the tragedy.
